The Verdict

After-Buzz

Garnier Fructis BzzKit contents.
I received my Garnier Fructis BzzKit in the mail yesterday! The BzzKit came with one full-size bottle of shampoo and conditioner, both being the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition.

What is different with these bottles, you may ask? The difference is the new Eco-Fructis bottles, which contain 30% recycled plastic! I honestly love that Garnier Fructis has become greener and it positively affects my decision on buying their products in the future. I like to buy/support brands that care about our planet. Way to go, Garnier!

The Scent

I didn't think that the Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner smelled as good as I remember (when I tried Garnier the first time), but it was not bad. The smell was not overpowering, but light. The scent is not as strong as it used to be.

There was less of a fruity smell, and more of a, well, shampoo smell. After using it, as my hair began to dry, there was a nice leftover scent that lingered in my hair; it was also not overpowering.

The Texture

The shampoo was runny, almost watery. When using the shampoo, I felt I had to use more in order to completely and thoroughly wash all of my thick hair. Because of this, I did not like the texture of the shampoo. The conditioner had a better texture. Unlike the usual conditioners I have tried before, the Garnier Frutis Triple Nutrition conditioner was not slippery and too thick/heavy. The consistency of the conditioner was great and I enjoyed using it.

The lather of the shampoo was a bit weak. It seemed I had to keep adding water to the lather for it to build to a nice, workable lather. Again, I felt like I had to use more than I wanted to.
What I really liked was that both the shampoo and conditioner were light and easy-and-clean-rinsing. I liked that the shampoo and conditioner weren't heavy and did not weigh my hair down.

Conclusion

I enjoyed trying the Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner from Garnier Fructis. I like the new take that Garnier is taking to a greener shampoo. From the natural and active ingredients in their products to the eco-friendly bottles, I think they made a great business decision.

This was the first wash in which I am reporting about. I will post my updated opinions after additional use.

This campaign was through BzzAgent (bzzagent.com). I received the Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner from BzzAgent. I am a BzzAgent!

The Bzz About... Garnier Fructis

Pre-Bzz

As I mentioned in a previous post, I am signed up for the BzzAgent Garnier Fructis campaign. I am just waiting for the kit to arrive to try the product and report back with my opinions. I am excited for this. Garnier Fructis is a brand that I have wanted to try recently, but haven't.

I have heard mix reviews about Garnier Fructis. The first time I ever tried it was years ago, when I saw it at a friend's house. At that point, I had seen commercials for Garnier Fructis, but had not tried it, so I was curious. When I used it, I first noticed the smell. The scent of the shampoo was delicious and different than any other shampoos I had used before. This was the first and last time I have ever used the brand; this campaign will be my second time trying Garnier Fructis. With it being years since I last tried it, I am curious if the scent of the shampoo will be similar or different.

I have read and heard mixed reviews for Garnier Fructis.
I have heard that the scent is amazing (still!), that it makes hair feel soft and shiny, and that the people that used it did not have to use a hair dryer or curling iron because it held their hair well. I have also hear negative opinions.

Regardless, I look forward to try it out!

New Blogger Look

The new Blogger look is certainly different and unique, especially compared to the old Blogger look. Maybe it is just because I was used to it, but I miss the old look.

It's a revamp, a renewed look, which I have noticed on two other sites, as well. The photo-editing site Picnik (picnik.com) just moved its great tools to Google+, Facebook left behind a simple look and took on a more complex 'timeline'.

Picnik had some really helpful tools for editing photos. For those who don't own a photo-editing software/program, Picnik was a wonderful tool. To pictures, you could add text, stickers, borders, frames, and even alter with the coloring and texture of the photo. The editing options Picnik offered were creative and fun and brought out some creativity from myself sometimes. As for Google+, I am not sure about what that is yet. I have heard very little about Google+, however I am curious as to what it is. One question I do have is am I already signed up for Google+ since I have an account for Blogger?

Garnier Fructis

I have just signed up for the Garnier Fructis campaign for BzzAgent and I am excited. The fun and informative commercials I've seen have made me curious about Garnier Fructis. A few years back, I did try Garnier Fructis once and noticed how good it smelled, but I didn't take note about how it made my hair feel. So this campaign I can focus on what I do and don't like about the way it makes me hair feel and look!

Baby Lips

Baby Lips

Maybelline Baby Lips is a newer lip balm that can be bought for around $3. The one that I have been using is Peach Kiss Baby Lips Lip Balm (below). What originally caught my attention on this product was the colorful and fun advertisements in magazines and commercials. I don't usually use lip products, but because of my curiosity after seeing these fun ads, I chose to try Baby Lips.

My review of this product is great. The price is very reasonable, the options available are convenient for even the picky consumers. I like the lightness of the lip balm and when wearing it, I hardly feel it there. The color is not overpowering and is light, as well. My lips feel slightly softer after using this product.

I would recommend Baby Lips for women, for sure. Not only to moisturize and protect lips (SPF 20), but to feel like a celeb with it's attractive case.

BzzAgent

I will be using my blog to post reviews and opinions about products that I try/want to try. Like BzzAgent says, I have an opinion and I sometimes want to share it. I especially want to share my opinion on an already-finished campaign that BzzAgent held for Baby Lips by Maybelline. I will post more on that later.

I'm just giving this a shot, posting my opinions on products, to see how I like it.
