Next Top Beauty Guru?

After watching a few YouTube videos from missglamorazzi (Ingrid), I found myself wanting some make-up products to try out on myself. Ingrid is a beauty guru on YouTube-a very talented one, at that. She has some great videos on her channel. Thinking I could apply my new make-up/beauty products pretty good to myself after watching how she, herself, does her own make-up. Wrong!
I have never really worn make-up (less than 20 times my whole life) and don't know much about it. But, Ingrid's videos had me inspired to try. I failed at applying make-up to my face that looked good. I looked as though I belonged in a circus! But, I had fun buying the products and trying them out. I also got some great deals!

The Sephora brush was on sale for $3. One side is a more precise, smaller brush for applying eye shadow or eye liner. The other side is a looser, fluffier brush for blending. This is what the lady in Sephora told me!

The NYC 16 Hour Lip Stain was about $4.99. I can't remember the shade because I applied it twice and didn't like it. The shade was too light for my lips and wasn't even showing up. So, I returned it.

The e.l.f. eyelash curler was a great bargain at $1.00!

The e.l.f. eye primer was $3.
The e.l.f. waterproof eyeliner pen was $1.00.
I will put the links at the end of this post for each product mentioned.

The Baby Lips is my favorite lip balm. I saw Ingrid mention it in one of her videos and I realized that I have been wanting to buy it again (my first/only one melted and I had to throw it away). So, I got it!

At CVS today, I bought two Wet N Wild products for the price of one because of their BOGO going on for the Wet N Wild products. I have been wanting to try their Juicy Lip Balm in Watermelon for a while, but each and every time I would go to the store to buy it, there were only a few available and each and every one of them were either melted, opened, and/or tampered with! So, with that, I decided to try the only unopened/untampered one at CVS this morning: the Strawberry. It smells so good, but tastes really bad. It does, however, go on smoothly and glossy. I like it.

The eye shadow set (palette?) that I got was the "Silent Treatment". What I really like is that each one is labeled to create a nice, put-together look easily. One is marked as the one for your brow bone, one is marked for the crease of your eye, and the last one is marked for the eyelid. I think this is nice for beginners, like me!

I also got one of Fergie's nail polishes from Wet N Wild. I got the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which has little, colorful stars with a clear polish. I like it a lot. I like the design of the bottle, the nice, fat brush, and how great the polish looks on my nail.s This is definitely one of my favorite nail polishes I have used. The design of the bottle was cute, as well, and I liked the "F" on the top of the bottle!
