Judges, What Were You Thinking?

A lot of the decisions that the judges of America's Got Talent make I agree with, but there are a few this season that I just do not like nor understand.

Horse is the name of a guy who auditioned and made it to Vegas on AGT. Horse's audition (and what his "talent: is) was taking a hit to his groin without feeling much of anything at all. Not only did this guy get sent through to Vegas and was one of "the judges favorites", but he also got sent through to New York for the live shows. I do not find his act entertaining at all and at most, it is at a middle-school maturity level.

Some great and amazing talents were denied a live spot in New York, yet Mr. Horse got sent through? I am in shock!

Summer Lacy was also sent through to Vegas to audition for the live show in New York. She did not, however, make it through to the live shows. She was sent home. In both of her auditions, Summer Lacy performed an interestingly entertaining acrobatics routine. Both of her routines were beautiful and artistic.

Andrew De Leon surprised America with his amazing and strong voice. Judging from his appearance, I did not expect such a strong voice to be belted out from Andrew. His talent was undeniable and his story heartbreaking. Andrew opened up to the judges that he had never sung in front of anyone before. Ever. Not even his parents. And though he was nervous and it was his first time performing in front of anyone, he nailed his first audition. When Sharon, Howie, and Howard sent Andrew home in Vegas, I admit I was a little upset toward the judges.

However, putting all that aside, I feel there are some very talented acts that will be performing in the Live shows. Spencer Horsman is a handsome young man who happens to also be talented, too. For this season, Spencer has become my AGT crush.

Good luck in New York, Spencer.
